Baking Bee with the ANFC

Today we had a baking bee at the church. The Atikokan Native Friendship Centre reached out and asked if we could gather some people to do some baking for families struggling with the rising costs of food. The ANFC supplied the ingredients for all the baking and we supplied the space and ladies to do the labor. Coral, the Healthy Living Coordinator worked hard to gather all the supplies and helped with all the baking.

The ladies made granola bars, cookies, muffins, energy balls, pancakes, bread and buns!

Thank you to Carole, Gail, Jana, Marilyn and Brad for coming out to help with this adventure. We had so much fun baking that we decided to do it again in May. If you would like to help out, message Shawndra Morden on Facebook messenger and she will put you on the list.
